AMD FX-9590




Hi, pada kesempatan kali ini saya akan membahas tentang salah satu Prosessor dari AMD dengan Clock Speed Tertinggi, yaitu AMD FX-9590 yang memiliki kecepatan 4.7GHz dengan turbo core hingga 5GHz. Menggunakan soket AM3+, AMD FX 9590 memiliki 8 core dengan mikroarsitektur Piledriver. Tetapi, AMD FX 9590 ini tidak memiliki integrated graphic seperti pada seri AMD “Trinity” maupun “Richland“.

AMD FX 9590 ini berasal dari keluarga Vishera, akan tetapi prosesor ini lebih dikenal dengan nama AMD FX “Centurion”. Merupakan prosesor desktop ritel AMD tercepat saat ini.
Dengan kecepatan 5GHz serta 8 core aktif, tentu saja mengakibatkan konsumsi daya prosesor AMD ini sekaligus menjadi yang terbesar pada seri keluarga FX, yaitu 220W.
AMD Centurion ini memiliki core dan arsitektur yang sama dengan FX 8350, yang membedakan hanyalah kecepatannya

Selama pengujian, prosesor 8 core 8 thread ini mampu membuktikan kemampuannya sebagai prosesor retail pertama yang berani mengusung clock speed 5 GHz. Peningkatan performa yang besar ini tentunya juga harus diimbangi dengan konsumsi daya yang tinggi, hal ini wajar karena FX-9590 merupakan satu-satunya prosesor retail yang mengusung clock speed setinggi ini.
